Terminal T1-XL MXP Airport

DVC is committed to starting work on Terminal T1-XL at Milan Malpensa Airport, a project within an active infrastructure context and characterised by high operational complexity.
From the initial stages, construction site management is set up according to the requirements of the BREEAM protocol, taken as a reference for monitoring environmental and organizational performance.
The BREEAM protocol

The BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) protocol is an international standard applied to the evaluation of sustainability performance in building and infrastructure projects.
In the construction site context, it defines operational criteria relating to activity management, consumption monitoring, emissions control and waste traceability.
Environmental monitoring indicators
As part of construction site management, in compliance with the requirements of the BREEAM protocol, specific quantitative indicators relating to operational activities are monitored and recorded.
Below are some of the most relevant KPIs, with reference to the D661 SEA MXP T1-XL shipyard.
| Fuel (l) | Electricity (kWh) | Waste from operations (t) | Water (mc) | Emissions (tCO2eq) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 8.922,43 | 8.148,22 | 0 | 301 | 13,35 |
