Santa Maria ai Monti: reopening after the earthquake

Struck by the 2016 earthquake, the Santa Maria ai Monti Oasi in Grottammare is now returning to life thanks to a great restoration project in which DVC played a key role.

The work has returned to the community and the Franciscan Friars a place deeply connected to the spirituality and history of the place, always dedicated to hospitality and prayer. During the inauguration ceremony, Provincial Minister Simone Giampieri emphasized the importance of the restoration:

The work carried out enhances the beauty of this place, suspended between the blue of the sky and the blue of the sea. A marvel, a shared treasure. What has been achieved is a gift to be preserved in the beauty of today and – who knows – something to enhance even further.”
